This Refund Policy explains when CodeSquad offers refunds for purchases made through codesquad.ai or via an order form or invoice.
This Refund Policy explains when CodeSquad Inc. ("CodeSquad," "we," "us," or "our") offers refunds for purchases made through codesquad.ai or via an order form or invoice (collectively, the "Services"). By purchasing our Services, you agree to this Refund Policy.

1. General Policy
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or explicitly stated in a written agreement signed by CodeSquad, all fees are non-refundable. This is because our Services often include immediate access to software, templates, and/or time-based professional work and configuration.
We may, at our sole discretion, offer a partial refund or credit in exceptional circumstances (for example, duplicate charges).
2. Subscription Plans (SaaS)
A) Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged for the next period after cancellation.
B) Refunds for Subscription Charges
- Monthly plans: We do not provide refunds for partial months or unused time.
- Annual plans: We do not provide prorated refunds for unused months unless required by law or explicitly stated in your order form.
C) Plan Changes
- Upgrades may take effect immediately and may be charged immediately or prorated depending on your plan settings.
- Downgrades typically take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
3. Professional Services (Done-for-You Implementation)
If you purchase professional services (for example agent setup, workflow builds, custom integrations, consulting, implementation), the following applies unless your order form states otherwise:
A) Deposits and Upfront Payments
Deposits and upfront payments are non-refundable once work begins or resources have been allocated to your project.
B) Milestones
- Payments for completed milestones are non-refundable.
- If you cancel before a milestone begins, we may refund the unused portion for that milestone only if no work has started, at our discretion.
C) Client Delays / Inactivity
If a project is paused due to missing access, delayed inputs, or lack of response from the client for 30 days or more, we may:
- Close the project, and/or
- Charge for work completed to date.
Refunds will not be provided for delays outside our control.
4. Templates, Digital Products, and Downloads
If you purchase templates, downloadable assets, or other digital products, all sales are final once access is granted or a file is delivered, except where required by law.
5. Non-Refundable Items
Refunds are not provided for:
- Partially used subscription periods.
- Service time already delivered.
- Custom development or customization work after it has started.
- Third-party fees (for example Stripe, QuickBooks, cloud providers, API usage, platform subscriptions).
- Issues caused by Third-Party Services (outages, API changes, account restrictions).
- Outcomes dependent on client inputs, approvals, or compliance requirements.
- Performance expectations not explicitly guaranteed in a signed written agreement.
6. Service Credits (If Offered)
In some cases, we may offer service credits instead of a cash refund. Credits:
- Have no cash value.
- Are non-transferable.
- May expire after 12 months unless otherwise stated.
7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:
- Suspension or termination of your Account.
- Loss of access to Services.
- Collection efforts for unpaid balances.
8. How to Request a Refund
To request review of a refund, email shahzaib@codesquad.ai with:
- The name on the account.
- The invoice or receipt number.
- The amount and date charged.
- The reason for the request.
If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method where possible. Processing times vary by payment provider and bank.
9. Policy Changes
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on our Site, and the "Last Updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
